Normal childbirth, although being considered safer for both mother and baby due to the numerous benefits it provides, still many professionals and women choose the type of birth in advance. In the last 30 years, an increase in cesarean rates has been observed in almost all countries. Even though the Ministry of Health has been making efforts to decrease the rate of C-sections in the country, why is the number of C-sections increasing and why are more and more women undergoing C-sections every day instead of having a normal birth?
