Autorenporträt
Pritpal ('Prit') Buttar was educated at St John's College Oxford where he gained a BA in physiological sciences. From Oxford he went on to King's College Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry, London where he obtained his MBBS followed by the Royal College of General Practitioners, London, where he received his MRCGP. From 1987-1992 he was a Medical Officer in the Royal Army Medical Corps. On leaving the army he worked as a GP. Prit has written a number of books on the Eastern Front in both WW1 and WW2. He has amassed sales in the US and the UK of more than 150,000 copies with translations into Polish, Lithuanian, Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian, Italian and Chinese.
