John Buckley is a composer whose catalogue of original compositions extends to over 100 works. These have been performed and broadcast in more than fifty countries worldwide. He is a graduate of St Patrick's College Drumcondra and was a lecturer in the Music Department there between 2001 and 2016. He is a member of Aosdána, Ireland's academy of creative artists. John O'Flynn is Associate Professor of Music at Dublin City University and was formerly Head of Music at St Patrick's College. He has occupied various roles in the advancement of music education and musicology in Ireland, and is author of numerous publications in the areas of music in Ireland, film music, popular music and music education; he is also active as a choral conductor and baritone recitalist.
