Cephalos and the Kekropids, the second book in the serialization, brings us to Cephalos' teenage years, the 1370s BC, when his naval initiatives can confi dently progress through the extensive peace and prosperity that his father, Deion, has created for all of the north mainland. There is a juggernaut of prodigious feats by Cephalos as he develops overland commerce by caravans and is assigned a gamut of shore offi ces and commands.
