The subject of this research is in the field of Music Education. The aim here is to investigate the perspectives of teachers of Music Theory and/or Music Perception and of students graduating from the Music programme at the Federal University of Uberlândia - MG (UFU), with regard to the Specific Ability Certificate (CHE). The theme of CHE, as an assessment process, is interwoven with other relevant themes such as assessment in music, assessment in music education and access to higher education in music. The research contributes to teachers, students and others involved in music teaching by problematising the meanings and uses of the CHE as a means of classifying, measuring and selecting candidates who are suitable in their specific musical abilities.
Autorenporträt
Born in Ituiutaba - MG, the city in which he began his musical studies at the age of eleven. In Uberlândia - MG she completed her undergraduate degree in music and her Master's degree in Arts (sub-area - Music). She is currently a permanent piano teacher at the Uberlândia Conservatory.
