The analysis (CFD) of pressure and velocity is done for the oil flow paths of the main journal bearing fatigue test rig (postulated) and is validated through the analytical and experimental methods. The performance of the journal bearing is analysed by Navier-Stokes equation which is numerically solved under steady-state condition to obtain the pressure distribution profile. All the numerical matters of course are found to be in good conformity with analytical results.
