ABSTRACT: Pipe networks are very common in industries, where fluids are needed to be transported from one location to the other. Flow parameters may vary depending on the type of components coming across in the network, material of the pipe, the fluid that is being transported through the network and pipe fitting. Due to rigorous engineering applications and implications the analysis of pipe network to study the fluid flow is very important. Here our project is to design different branched pipes and by making fluid flow analysis for fluid passes through those branched pipes. The analysis is done by using CFD. The first pipe is a T-shaped with the angle between inlet and outlet is 90 degrees. The second pipe is a straight pipe having a side branch with angle 45 degrees. The third pipe is a Y-shaped pipe with the angle between the outlets is 45degrees. Here our project is to compare the fluid flow parameters within above mentioned branched pipes and observe how the parameters are changing in these three different pipes.
