Adrian Naznean's study investigates the translation of medical articles from and into Romanian and English. The five chapters of the book analyse both the theoretical aspects that pertain to specialised translations and the practice of the translation of medical articles. A large corpus of medical articles from the fields of histology and pathology lies at the basis of the practical part. The study of this corpus allowed deriving useful information on the translation of medical articles and it also led to the compiling of a glossary of terms frequently encountered in histopathology. The guide for the translation of such articles is meant to help other translators involved in medical translations.
