The book examines the concept and the practice of archaeological site management and the Challenges facing master planning of archaeological sites to improve the present shortcomings and promote better preservation conduct of the archaeological sites. This study highlights the importance of master planning of archaeological sites in Egypt. according to (a) reviewing the current situation of management and the related regulations in Egypt ; (b) reviewing the History of legislation and national laws (c) studying the current status institutional/administrational framework, resources, and Capacity Building Also current challenges; (d) investigating the current situation of archaeological fieldwork and its interaction with local and international bodies; (E) teaching archaeology and heritage management in the Egyptian education system. Furthermore; it emphasizes the significance of sustainability practices in managing archaeological heritage sites.
