Niccolò Persiani is Full Professor in Healthcare Management at the University of Florence, Italy. He has published articles and monographies on Healthcare systems management, Healthcare systems in the Balkan and Eastern European Countries, Health Economics and internal control systems. Ilaria Elisa Vannini, PhD, is Adjunct Professor in Healthcare Management at the University of Florence, Italy. Her research interests focus on Health systems management, Health economics and Internal control systems. Anna Romiti is an Assistant Professor of Management at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine at University of Florence, Italy, where she is member of the Health Services Research Unit and Vice-Director of the Degree Program in Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences. Her research activities focus on Healthcare Management and sport tourism management. Anastasios Karasavvoglou is a Professor of Economics at the International Hellenic University (Greece) and President of the annual international conference "Economies of the Balkan and Eastern European Countries". He has published numerous books and papers on immigration, regional development and the labor market. Persefoni Polychronidou is an Associate Professor of Quanitative Methods at the Department of Economic Sciences at the International Hellenic University (Greece). Her research focuses on statistical and data analysis and she has published numerous papers on empirical economic data. She is the co-editor of the International Journal of Business and Economic Sciences Applied Research.
