Besides, the book adopted a survey to generate the needed data using institutional questionnaire administered to twenty-four (24) banks at the Nigerian Inter-banks Settlement System (NIBSS). The six tested hypotheses revealed that there is a relationship between restructuring and improved HRM polices/principles; stable employment opportunity in the banking industry; improved remuneration for retained employees relative to their former status; adequate payment of severance packages for laid off employees; optimal number of employees and improved industrial relations.
