Autorenporträt
Karyzma is the spoken word artist behind the poetry collection, Champions Reign Supreme. A native of the island of Jamaica, she is a dedicated educator who has made South Carolina home. Karyzma is a loyal daughter of South Carolina State University where she played soccer while pursuing undergraduate studies and where she was named Poet Laureate, prior to graduating summa cum laude in 2004. She earned principal licensure through her studies at Walden University and is also a proud graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where she earned her doctoral degree. An avid reader, optimist, and critical observer, Karyzma uses her work to give voice to her life experiences as well as the experiences of others.
