Karen Mooney, MBA, ACC, is an executive in facilities management at a healthcare organization in the Texas Medical center in Houston, Texas. During her tenure, she received the Best Boss award, and she has twice been a finalist for the institutional mentoring award. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in construction management, Mooney went on to receive her MBA from the University of Texas at Tyler. Mooney authors a weekly leadership blog that inspires people to develop strong self-awareness, a quality that allows them to find their unique leadership voice. She is a certified coach by the International Coach Federation, a certified Gallup Strengthsfinder coach, and is a professional speaker. Mooney lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband of over twenty years.
