Change One Thing About WWII looks at various decisive decisions during the WWII, then works through what might happen if a different decision was made. The book also looks at the results of battles in new ways. What if, Hitler had not invaded Russia, or the Allies lost on D-Day or China dropped out of the war? The possible outcomes are rationally worked out with available facts, how the strategic situation might change is analyzed, and how this would impact the post-war world. Winning or losing WWII is one thing, but the impact of an Allied "defeat" on the post war world is most important, and Change One Thing goes into an interesting analysis of a post war world with the Axis still in power. Change One Thing aims to challenge thinking and assumptions about WWII so the reader can appreciate how significant the battles and decisions truly were. Challenge yourself to think deeply about the greatest war in human history with Change One Thing About WWII.
