Produktbeschreibung
In September 2012, sixteen members of the Amish community in Bergholz, Ohio, were sentenced to federal prison for the hair- and beard-cutting crimes committed against members of other Amish communities. Linda Shrock, a daughter of the Bergholz community leader, listened quietly as the judge read her sentence. Six months later and hundreds of miles from home, Linda entered prison in Waseca, Minnesota. Almost two years passed before she left not only prison but also the Amish lifestyle she'd known for over forty years. Within the pages of Changed and Accepted, Linda continues the story she started in her first book, Betrayed and Rejected. She tells how she overcame her fears, learned to trust in a God she didn't fully understand, fought for her children, divorced her husband, and accepted leaving the Amish lifestyle.
