Autorenporträt

Michel Butor (1926-2016) was a French writer often associated with the nouveau roman movement and is best remembred for his Changing Track (La Modifi cation). After writing his fourth and fi nal novel in 1960, he devoted the rest of his writing career to essays and poetry.
