John Patrick Yob Biography John Patrick Yob began his political involvement by attending Michigan State Conventions and Republican National Committee meetings with his father at a very young age, and serving as a page at the 1996 Republican National Convention in San Diego, CA. He served as National General Chairman and Executive Director of the College Republican National Committee in 1999 after participating in College Republicans at the University of Michigan. Today, Yob is known as one of the foremost Republican convention experts in the United States. He has run convention campaigns in roughly half the states across America and managed over fifty Michigan State Convention campaigns including multiple for Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Lt. Governor. He ran national convention operations for John McCain in 2008, Rick Santorum in 2012, and was National Political Director for Rand Paul in 2016. Yob joined the John McCain operation as Great Lakes Political Director in 2005. He was elevated over the next few years to become National Political Director in 2007-8. Yob was the lead Michigan Consultant for Rick Snyder's upset victory in the 2010 Governor's race and once again consulted for the 2014 General Election victory. John built several successful companies over the last two decades at the intersection of campaigns and technology with the first emphasizing Computer and Technology Integration (CATI) in 2001. Additional companies do general consulting, online consulting, online advertising, automated and live telephony, transaction processing, and merchant account banking. John Yob and his wife Erica live at their home in St John USVI with their two children, Cassidy and Alexander. ##
