The objective of this study is to characterize the newborn with toxoplasmosis, aiming to identify the means of contamination, exposing the most used exams for diagnosis, providing guidance on hygiene issues, as well as on the need to perform exams, especially prenatal, in order to identify the risks and minimize the consequences of the virus action in contaminated newborns.
