Demand for huge chunk of signal information drives the innovation in the technology to make the systems capable of transforming the data at higher and higher speeds. So computers and communication devices also adapted to higher data rates so, they use VPX technology to communicate with other devices because, VPX support multi Gigabit communication and it is very rugged, compact and portable. So switching systems used for communication in military and aerospace should also support VPX connectivity. But, if switched back-plane is not used then to connect devices to switch require cables, this makes difficulty to handle devices and increases chances of disturbance and damage of cables which may affect communication. This report gives some methods of validation and testing of Ethernet switches which uses VPX technology for communication.
