Three studies were conducted in this project which constitute Study I: Morphological characterization and Body Condition Scoring (BCS), Study II: Secondary data analysis (production and reproduction performance) and Study III: Prediction of body weight (BW) on linear body measurements (LBM) for Chinese Yellow Cattle (YC) and Kedah-Kelantan Cattle (KK). Study I shows that there were similarity of physical characteristic between YC and KK. There were six parameters for qualitative traits that have been observed which comprises the body skin colour, hair characteristic, horn characteristic, body part characteristic, basic temperament and BCS. Study II indicates the production and reproduction traits between YC and KK. The calving interval of YC and KK represent with 393.67±4.36 days and 745.27±36.24 days respectively. Study III shows that the male appear to have larger and bigger value for BW, BCS and LBM than female. Other than that, the correlation of BW on LBM had shown that HG appears to have very high relationship with BW compare to other LBM in both sexes. In addition, multiple linear regression equation was chosen due to high and a lot of improvement in R2.
