As discussed in this book the mean daily milk yield of Fogera cattle at on-farm level is 3.54L and the current population size is estimated to 9016. The main threats to survival of Fogera cattle are scarcity of feed and cross-breeding. This book also includes the general character of the breed and what we do to save the breed from the risk of extinction.
