Autorenporträt
Fran Groover grew up and attended school in Chambers County, Alabama. She has worked in education for over twenty-seven years. In 1996 she started her career as a first-grade teacher before becoming an elementary school principal in 2006. She currently works as a director for the Chambers County School District. Fran grew up enjoying summer reading in elementary school and has vivid memories of lying by the air conditioner vent reading on hot summer days. Her go-to books were from authors like Beverly Cleary. Her love for children's literature expanded as she majored in early childhood education at Auburn University. Fran is married to Buddy Groover, and they have two sons, Logan and Ryan. Fran is also lucky enough to have two wonderful stepchildren, Chelsea and Colby. This is her first published book. These characters have been a vision of hers for many years.
