Wayne D. Cottrell, Ph.D. is a music charts historian. This is one in a series of books, each with rankings of the top singles and albums in various musical genres, by decade or half-decade. Wayne is also an engineer and engineering educator, specializing in transportation. He has written bicycling guidebooks, articles for "Cycling West," technical papers for academic journals, and engineering reports.
