Autorenporträt
John Grant was born in Glasgow in 1942 and trusted the Lord as his Saviour when he was eight years old. He was married to Ann and they had four children. He attended the local Gospel Hall in Renfrewshire where he spent much of his time preaching and teaching whilst having a busy career in IT. He felt the Lord was calling him to give up his secular employment and serve the Lord full time and in 1991 he was commended by his local assembly to full time service. In addition to being active across the UK, John's teaching and preaching took him to many different parts of the world including Canada, the USA, Japan, Korea and Sri Lanka. He was editor of the Believer's Magazine for seventeen years and authored two volumes of the "What The Bible Teaches" Ritchie Commentary Series, and also wrote on contemporary issues in the Family Series, along with the book "Living For God". John went home to be with the Lord he had served so faithfully in January 2020.
