His poetry reflects his keen observation and contemplation, breaking old constructs, creating fresh patterns and bringing a whole new imagery. His writings artfully carry the images of longing, they are the celebration of his mourning and they hold in them the age old tales of deep attachment with the soil of the rural lands. He has been published extensively in literary magazines of repute including Muasir, Asbaat, Nazm e Nau, Zarnigar, Ata, Tasteer, Nazool, Byaaz, Niqaat, Talazma, Nawa e Waqt, Adbiyat, Irtiqa, Kaghazi Paerahen etc. His poetry was also including in selected works under the title of 'Midhat' and 'Zara Nam ho'. Also, a selection of poetry by young poets published by Vaag Devi Publishers, India in 2011, titled as 'Khirki mein Khwab' includes his selected poetry.
