Autorenporträt
Aida Dabreo is a mom to Chace and Amira, nurse practitioner, and entrepreneur. Aida has been teaching Chace at home since he was a newborn. She noticed that Chace could sing the alphabet prior to turning one years old, knew phonics A-Z by 16 months old, and began reading flashcards at 18 months old. She also noticed that Chace loved 'reading' books even prior to him knowing how to read. Chace would pick out a book or two daily and have a story based on the pictures. Most importantly, Aida noticed that Chace was literally a sponge! Chace would wake up singing the alphabet, sing it throughout the day, and sing it to himself at bedtime. His love for learning the alphabet and reading came from setting up daily routines of educational time with his mom. Since noticing Chace's eagerness to learn and that her at home methods of teaching were very effective, Aida decided that this method should be shared with the world and serve as birthday gift and memorabilia to Chace for his love of the alphabet!Chasing My ABC's was written by Chace when he was three years old and utilizes the visual- auditory-kinesthetic approach to teaching children. By using this multi-sensory method, your child will be given the opportunity to see the letters, say them and hear it either by the person reading it to them or in our audio book. A multi-sensory method of teaching helps children's brain to learn the code of reading which has been proven by research. Chace and Aida would like to represent little brown boys around the world who are intelligent, have an eagerness to learn, are confident, dream big, work hard and thrive in their ambitions. Aida would love to have Chacing My ABC's in daycares and elementary schools worldwide. Please contact Aida at aida@Chacetheace.com for more information.
