This richly illustrated architecture book describes the development of Chassé Park in Breda and the philosophy behind this internationally acclaimed project. Vary rarely does a Dutch city have an opportunity to develop such a large vacant piece of land in its historical centre. The master plan for Chassé Park was designed by Rem Koolhaas and worked out by Xaveer de Geyter and West 8. Its point of departure is the campus model, which combines urban living with openness.
