The isolated chemical constituents, though not new, is an example of step by step isolation and structural characterization of the secondary plant metabolite from D. indica. It is hoped that this book would be very useful to the students of Pharmaceutical sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany and Traditional system of medicine.This book has six chapters, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, Microbiological investigation, cytotoxicity and antioxidant. Finally all the results have been summarized in the conclusion section. The references have been listed in the final chapter.
