Porphyrin and quinone are naturally occurring organic compounds endowed with enormous industrial applications and have gained considerable attention due to their wide structural diversity for the design of new supramolecular assemblies and coordination polymers. The book entitled "Chemistry of Porphyrin and Quinone Compounds: Synthesis and Structural Description" is a comprehensive guide on the synthesis and structural description of various halogen and heteroatom substituted derivative compounds of porphyrin and quinone moiety and some of their main group metal complexes.
