Victoria Winifred is the author of the award-winning mythological chess fantasy, The Princess, the Knight, and the Lost God, along with other celebrated works, several of which also include chess as a theme or backdrop. Ms. Winifred stepped back from full-time teaching in 2022 to focus on her writing career. She offers school visits where she presents engaging, standards-based presentations for grades K-6.
