Chester Township is one of the thirteen townships of Clinton County, Ohio, United States. The 2000 census found 1,771 people in the township, up from 1,200 in 1990. Major roads are Interstate 71 and State Routes 73 and 380. It is one of five Chester Townships statewide. The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1.
