K N Agarwal(MBBS-1959; DCH- 1961 ; MD ¿Pediatrics 1969) was trained in Pediatric Hematology (M D, Hons 1965) from the University of Uppsala, Sweden. His outstanding contributions are: a) Red cell changes in asthmatic children receiving corticosteroids ; b) Mechanism(s) in red cell lysis-and prevention by corticosteroids.
