The study evaluates the child health facilities in public hospital with reference to Sargodha city. One of the objectives of the study is to evaluate physical facilities. The prevailing perception among the public denotes that it is too pathetic and bad that only downtrodden strata of the society affords to visit the public hospitals. The other purpose of the study is to look at the performance of the hospital staff. We would observe whether the people who are visiting hospitals are satisfied with the performance of the doctors, nurses, and other para-medical staff. Another purpose of the study would be to evaluate the management and its effectiveness. The last but not the least purpose of the study would be to suggest some concrete steps and policy options to bring some betterment in the current situation. 250 respondents included both male and female in the study. They were treated from public hospitals in calendar year of 2011. The technique of Simple random sampling was used to select sample. By personal interviews of respondents, data was collected. The schedule was formulated in English and asked in Urdu.
