How do you know true power from fleeting earthly power? How do you hold on to the power once you receive it? I was born to Louis and Patricia Robinson on September 13, 1970. The oldest of four siblings Louis Jr., Brenda, and Felicia. I always loved words. I loved to talk, sing, but especially write. Writing however was not easy for me. It wasn't until I was 15 years old and saw a show on T.V. that I realized I wasn't stupid. I had a learning disability, Dyslexia. Though my problem had a name, all I could hear in my head was "dummy." Many times, I didn't think life was worth all of what I was going through. Couple of times, I was ready to throw in the towel. I know now that it was those struggles and the ones to come that made me the Fighter, Warrior, Gladiator, Child of God that I am today. Because in the mist of all the shouting in my mind there was a still quiet voice that told me not to give up. It told me that I was special, intelligent, a remarkable individual, and no matter what the enemy threw at me, I was going to stand. In 2005, after one failed marriage, I married my husband J. In 2011, after 20 years of longing, God blessed my family with the greatest gift on earth, my daughter Destin. All the things I've been through have taught me how much I need God. I used to write because of how much God loved me. Now I write because of how much I love Him.
