This book presents the development of a research work carried out in the municipality of Soacha in Colombia. The objective is to demonstrate that child participation is a structural element of social and community transformation. For this, it is necessary to consider the child as a political subject, that is, as a subject fully entitled to the effective enjoyment of his or her rights. The integral development of all children, based on play as a pillar of formation and growth, is the teleological sense that determined the pedagogical proposal presented here. This research is developed from the scenario of the Bachelor's Degree Program in Early Childhood Pedagogy of the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios of the Soacha Regional Center.
