The Democratic Republic of Congo is a large country in the heart of Africa, devastated by conflicts that have been going on for some twenty years because of its abundantly rich subsoil. Child combatants are heavily involved in these conflicts, but their involvement has a genesis that many are unaware of. This study goes back to the origins of the problem and its legacy. Children are still soldiers in some parts of the country, and the solutions are still far from producing the desired results.
