Dorota Iwaniec is Professor of Social Work and Director of the Centre for Child Care Research at Queens University of Belfast. Her main research interests include emotional abuse and the failure of children to thrive. Malcolm Hill is Professor of Social Work and Director of the Centre for the Child and Society at the University of Glasgow.
