Autorenporträt
JODIE RENNER, a former middle-school teacher and teacher-librarian with a master's degree, is a sought-after fiction editor and award-winning author of three craft-of-writing guides, Captivate Your Readers, Fire up Your Fiction, and Writing a Killer Thriller. She has also published two handy, clickable e-resources for writers, editors, journalists, teachers, and students: Quick Clicks: Spelling List and Quick Clicks: Word Usage. Jodie has organized and edited two anthologies for charity, Childhood Regained and Voices from the Valleys - Stories & Poems about Life in BC's Interior. Ms. Renner was a classroom teacher for 24 years (B.C. and Ontario) and a teacher-librarian for two years (Ontario). She mostly taught Grades 5 and 6 English and Social Studies and Grades 4 to 8 French. She now lives in Penticton, BC, where she continues to edit novels for others and create and publish her own books.
