Don't go into the fog! Will's little brother has a knack for predicting the weather. His sister, Kaylee, always reminds them that Ryan is never wrong. But when he mentions fog one bright and clear morning, their mother completely freaks out. She even makes them promise not to go in the fog! But fog is the least of their worries when they run into Hawk Maddingsly on the way to school. Fleeing from the bully, they soon find themselves at the old bridge that leads to the school, but it's covered in fog. Torn between their mother's warning and the immediate danger chasing after them, they plunge into the fog. When they emerge on the other side of the bridge, they find themselves in a strange nation filled with suspicion. When they try to ask for help, they are mistaken as spies from an enemy nation and chased through the city. Now they must use their wits - and new found powers - to escape capture and find a way to return home.
