Author C. Lynn Moriarty was born into her Irish Catholic family in Calhoun County Iowa. She has been a CCD Teacher, Parish Council member and is past President of DCCW Deanery 10 of the Kansas City-St Joseph Diocese. She and her farmer husband have eight children between them and 42 grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
