In the monograph, on the basis of a wide range of sources, including archival material introduced into scientific circulation, a comprehensive study of the formation and development of the children's and youth movement in Kursk region. As a result of the study it was found that the first children and youth organization, aimed at physical and moral education of youth, appeared in the Kursk region in 1912, and the first scout troop in 1915, not in 1916 as claimed in the national historiography. The paper demonstrates the continuity of methods, organizational structure and goals of children's and youth organizations in the Kursk region in the changes of political system and the strengthening of the Soviet power. The mechanism and forms of interaction between the scout and other children's and youth organizations in the first post-revolutionary years are shown. On the basis of extensive factual material the author was able to identify the characteristic features of the children's movement in Kursk region at different stages of state development.
Autorenporträt
Nació en 1968, en Chisinau, Moldavia. En 1991 fue el iniciador y copresidente del comité organizador de la Asociación Nacional de Scouts de Moldavia. Se graduó en la Universidad Pedagógica Estatal Ivaneu Chi¿in¿u en 1992. Actualmente dirige el Instituto de Investigación de Scouts de la República de Moldavia. En la actualidad es Director del Departamento de Investigación Científica de la Universidad Estatal de Kursk. Es candidato a las ciencias históricas.
