Tom Jackson is a writer specializing in natural history, technology, and all things scientific. He studied zoology at Bristol University and has had spells working at the zoos in Jersey and Surrey. Tom has planted trees in Somerset, surveyed a Vietnamese jungle and rescued buffaloes from drought-ridden Zimbabwe. Writing jobs have taken him to the Galápagos Islands, the Amazon rainforest, the coral reefs of Indonesia, and the Sahara Desert. He is based in the UK.
