The theme of this research is the language development of 3 and 4-year-old children in a kindergarten in Campo Bom/RS, through a pedagogical proposal focused on the work with children's literature, aiming to verify to what extent activities with literature can contribute to the emerging literacy of these children. For the development of the work, a reading script was created and applied. In addition, other moments of reading and storytelling were also performed for and by the students. Before developing the project, the emergent literacy scale was applied to the research participants, in order to find out what knowledge they already had about the literate world. After the project implementation, the students were evaluated in order to check again their performance regarding the components of the emergent literacy scale.

Graduada em Pedagogia Licenciatura Plena pela Universidade Federal do Pampa (2014), Especialista em Mídias na Educação pela Universidade Federal de Pelotas (2016) e Mestra pelo curso de Mestrado Profissional em Letras da Universidade Feevale (2020). Atualmente é professora da educação infantil no município de Campo Bom/RS.
