Talia Carner was the publisher of Savvy Woman magazine. A former adjunct professor at Long Island University School of Management and a marketing consultant to Fortune 500 companies, she was also a volunteer counselor and lecturer for the Small Business Administration and a member of United States Information Agency (USIA) missions to Russia. HOTEL MOSCOW, was the winner of USA Book News Award in the multicultural category. THE THIRD DAUGHTER, Carner's latest novel (September 2019, HarperCollins,) described as "Tango and Sex in Buenos Aires in the late 1800s," is a story of a young woman lured from Eastern Europe into prostitution in South Americaand her courageous struggle to free herself from this bondage, while bringing down those responsible for it.
Over 60 of Carner's award-winning short stories, articles and personal essays have appeared in anthologies, literary magazines and leading websites. She has given over 300 keynote speeches and presentations about the social issues behind her novels to civic, educational and religious organizations.
