This book focuses on China's Internet development practice since 2023, focuses on demonstration and guidance, and comprehensively assesses the Internet development of 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) across the country in six dimensions, namely, infrastructure construction, innovation capacity, digital economic development, digital social development, network security and network governance, reflecting the level of Internet development of each region, and providing an opportunity for each region to accurately grasp its own strengths. This will provide reference for localities to accurately grasp their own advantages, further define the strategic objectives and priorities of Internet development, and promote the cause of Internet information towards the goal of building a strong Internet country.
