Lorenzo Bencivelli is an economist at the International Economic Analysis and Relations Department of the Bank of Italy. In his current position, he analyzes China's economy and policy. He also studies foreign direct investments policies. Prior to this position, he served for four years as Financial Attaché at the Italian Embassy in Beijing. He graduated from Bocconi University (Milan) and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Turin. Flavia Tonelli is a sinologist and analyst at the International Economic Analysis and Relations Department of the Bank of Italy. In her current position, her focus is on analyzing China's political, cultural and geopolitical environment. She graduated from the University of Rome La Sapienza.
