About the Author James Crawford was born in Salem, Ohio, and raised on a family fruit and vegetable farm. He is retired from Ohio University where he was an administrator and doctor. Crawford was director of the Center for Innovation and Leadership, a business and industry outreach from the Universities' Southern Campus in Ironton, Ohio. He also taught communication at Ohio University and Postmodern Leadership at the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, Virginia. James is the father of four adult children, grandfather of eight children, and great grandfather of one child, the beautiful Eden. James lives with his life partner, Terri, in Canfield, Ohio. James' first book, Betrayal at the Carlisle, a Jake Reid book, is available at Amazon.
