Autorenporträt
Pan¿Jianhua, was born in 1957, Hubei Province. He received a bachelor's degree from Huazhong Agricultural University in 1982 and PhD degree in Economics from Oxford University, England in 1992. He is currently the  director and researcher of Institute for Urban and Environmental Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.  He is one of the most renowned economists in China for studies in sustainable development, ecological economics, land and resources economics and climate policy, etc. He has published  8 academic monographs and over 300 papers worldwide in journals such as Nature(October 2009), Science (October 2008 and June 2012) and Oxford Review of Economic Policy (October 2009) and many others. His works include Economic Analysis of Sustainable Development Path, Low Carbon Transition- Basic Approach for Sustainable Development etc.
