Produktbeschreibung
This book has a two-fold research purpose. First is
to develop the theological and conceptual framework
for the formulation of a Chinese contextual mission
theology by using an interdisciplinary approach of
biblical, theological and cultural studies. Second
is to explore the missiological implications of that
contextual mission theology in relation to
culturally relevant mission strategies. Following
the guidelines derived from the literature review of
previous researches, the author applied an
interdisciplinary study of biblical paradigm,
biblical teaching of the intra-trinitarian
relationship, and Chinese cultural value of Qinqing
to formulate the theological and conceptual
framework of Qinqing (familial love and
familial relationship) Mission Theology. An
ethnographic research was conducted to investigate
the Chinese Qinqing in the city of Taitung, Taiwan.
The data were analyzed qualitatively to derive
missiological themes. By integrating and comparing
these themes with Qinqing mission theology, several
culturally relevant mission strategies for the
Chinese in traditional culture have been discussed.
