Constance has worked, studied, earned an AA degree, certifications and recognition as Artist, Designer, Illustrator, she is a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Removal (MBSR) teacher (Brown University), a Puppeteer Performer, and Writer.Constance remains a Continuing Education Student at the University of Lethbridge. Her interests include: Education, Creative Writing, Indigenous Studies, Performing Arts, Psychology and Philosophical endeavours.She is currently involved in an Independent Study with the University of Lethbridge Psychology Department, on the Social Emotional Benefits of Reciprocal Storytelling Essential Question: Do the characters, positive (Shnoogy) and not-so-positive (Kruddy), provide children with options that result in positive choices and actions?Goals: ¿Increase emotional self-awareness and self-empowerment in elementary students.¿ Teach children a thought pathway that helps them navigate life challenges. ¿ To become aware of their own agency and power that an act of kindness elicits in both giver and receiver, and to develop confidence in their own voice.¿ They can learn to Choose Their Own Road to Happiness by knowing and identifying with both characters and discovering how to Toss their Kruddy and Ignite their Shnoogy!
